High School Band and Choir students on their way home from a 3 day trip to Chicago. They went to Blue Man Group, Comedy Sportz, Hard Rock Cafe, Museum of Science and Industry, The Shedd Aquarium, Millenium Park, Medieval Times Dinner and Show, Illinois Holocaust Museum and Navy Pier.

Calendar: Please note, the fall play has been moved to December 9th and 10th

6-12 Spring Concert and Banquet - Friday May 12. Awards banquet in the east dining hall @ 6:00 pm and concert in the performing arts center following the banquet.


SEMESTER TEST INFORMATION (BAND): Semester tests will consist of playing components and written components. The playing part will be the chromatic scale one octave from concert Bb ascending and descending, one of the major scales we've had this year, a short sight-reading exercise and a portion of one of our concert/contest selections.

the written part will be over basic fundamentals and the study guide is posted below.

SEMESTER TEST INFORMATION (CHOIR): Semester tests will consist of singing components and written components. The singing part will include singing your scale on solfeg up and down (do to do). Students will sight sing a short excerpt using solfeg and sight read a rhythm by clapping and counting the rhythms aloud.

The written part will be over basic fundamentals and the study guide is posted below.








Grades and Learning Targets: the two attachments below are the music performance classes learning targets and grading (assessment) procedure for those learning targets (classes). Students may reassess until the final performance skill deadline of each quarter.
